Here are a few of the tips BEST Craft Organizer customers have given:

Line the 1" Drawers and Paper Shelves with inexpensive adhesive magnetic sheets. They work perfectly to hold Spellbinder Nestabilities, Bordabilities, etc. 4-8 sets fit in each tray. The dies stay in place when not in use because of the magnetic sheets. Helps to save time and increases the flow of ideas!

Place a Glue Dot along the bottom of a ribbon dispenser; attach the tail ends of each ribbon to the Glue Dot. This will prevent your ribbonends from winding back int the dispenser.

Add a restaurant chit rail under the hutch to hold pictures, notes and papers.

Use the top 1" Drawer in the desk as a garbage. Just sweep away the little bits while you are working.

When going on crops, pack the drawers into cardboard banker boxes and transport them easily. At the crop, turn the box on its short side and slide the drawers in; this helps keep them from toppling everywhere.

Make your Paper Shelves slide! Simply purchase a pair of drawer rails for $1.75/pair (plus shipping) and convert your paper shelves to be able to slide. Here's how to do it:

Install the drawer rails upside down and then slide your paper shelf on top of the rail. When inserting the drawer rails the right hand rail will now look like a '7' when inserted. The paper shelves will not have a stop on them and will be able to pull completely out. Also, the paper shelves must be double spaced in your unit, not single spaced; therefore, insert your upside down drawer rails into every other hole in your cabinet. Make sure not to load the paer shelf past the front lip. This may cause the paper shelf to bow in the center.

Use the 2" insert as a ribbon storage. Simply flip your insert upside down and with an x-acto knife cut slits in each compartment. Now roll up your ribbon and slip the end through the slot cut in the compartment. Once all your compartments are full of ribbon, take your 2" drawer and flip it upside down onto the 2" insert. Carefully flip right side up, both the drawer and insert together. Now all your ribbon is organized and easy to dispense.

By using the 1" and 2" inserts in the 3.5" drawer, you can obtain maximum storage space and still keep all your little items organized. The inserts are stiff enough that you can pull out the 1" insert easily to reveal the 2" insert below.
